Bert Schmelzer (competition call sign 21) has successfully completed the day’s task and is the first pilot to return to Hahnweide.

Kirchheim’s Mayor, Pascal Bader, welcomed the competition participants at today’s briefing. Sports Director Rainer Rauch provided valuable information about the airfield and airspace, particularly for the many first-time participants, whilst Dr Josef “Jupp” Dahlem gave an update on the weather conditions. With a low cloud base, the pilots will set off on the day’s tasks from 12:00 (ready for take-off).
