A long-standing tradition at every HWW: chilli con carne on Tuesday evenings. Yesterday was no exception. Lots of happy, well-fed diners enjoyed the treat. A big thank you to our brilliant kitchen team!!!

Speaking of the kitchen: our team conjures up delicious, fresh food for you every day – from breakfast and cheeseburgers with chips to delicious cakes and pastries. Come and give it a try!

What a day! In challenging weather, punctuated by showers, pilots from all classes tackled the flying tasks. In the end, some successfully completed the scheduled circuit (last landing at 8:45 pm), whilst others had to start their engines or outlanded. In the end and in various ways, all the teams made it back safely to Hahnweide. Welcome back!

Good morning! Gridding begins today at 08:15 am on RWY30 in the following order: 18m class first, followed by 15m, 20m two-seaters and the Open class.

For a moment, there was some confusion: Who on earth had managed to create such a lifelike scale model of our sporting director, Rainer, inside a Ventus 2ax fuselage??? Thank goodness the supposed ‘mannequin’ moved after all, and we had the real Rainer back :-)
