Today's task for all classes is an ‘Assigned Area Task’ with possible distances between 340km and 660km.

The special thing about this type of task is that so-called turning circles are specified instead of turning points. This allows the pilot to decide for himself to which point in the turning circle he flies in order to then fly to the next turning circle.

The difficult thing is that a minimum time is also specified for each class for the tasks, for example 4 hours for the 18m and 15m classes, so that the pilot who keeps to this time as precisely as possible has an advantage in the end. A great sporting challenge for the pilots and we wish them every success!

The starting grid has already been set up on runway 12. Ready for take-off at 11.30 am for the 18m class, then 15m, then double-seater and open class.
